Market: The NCCOAST Business Journal
reaches those interested in the current business news and business and economic
development of Carteret County, out-of-the-area businesses looking to relocate
to our growing coastal area, and out-of-the-area venture capitalists.
Seven-thousand copies of each issue are published six-times per year in
February, April, June, August, October and December with 3,000 of these copies
direct-mailed to Carteret County Economic Development Council and Carteret
County Chamber of Commerce members. The remaining 4,000 copies of each issue are
direct-mailed to select recipients throughout the state and country and
distributed at high-traffic locations throughout Carteret County.
Upon advance request, NCCOAST Communications supplies copies of the NCCOAST
Business Journal to conferences, corporate meetings, for use in relocation and
business incentive packages and to Carteret County businesses which would like
to carry the magazine in their offices. Email
sales@nccoast.com. A one-time single issue of the NCCOAST Business Journal
is also mailed free-of-charge to individuals across the country and around the
world who request the magazine via email at
ncbj@nccoast.com. Paid direct mail subscriptions are also available for this
publication.

- August 15, 2008 issue of the NCCOAST Business Journal features the
businesses that make summer shine for the tourism industry. For more
than a century, Carteret County has been a haven for summer people
seeking fun in the sun on North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks.
During 2006, Carteret County's tourism industry generated $262.05
million in revenue ranking Carteret County 13th in the state for
travel impact. Tourism in the county is responsible for the creation
of more than 3,250 jobs with an annual payroll of $51.26 million,
and state and local tax revenues of $29.18 million. Total net
occupancy tax collections of 5% for fiscal year 2006-07 amounted to
$4,589,895.
From restaurants and accommodations to fishing charters, retail
shops, the real estate industry and more, seasonal tourism makes for
great business. The June 15 - August 15, 2008 issue of the NCCOAST
Business Journal showcases summer's economic impact, what brings
